Wilson's Prom after the fires

Back at Wilson's Prom for Year 8 camp. I was interested to see the effects of the fires in March and how much regrowth there was.
Although the regrowth has been slow, the recent rain should help it along.
The patches that were control burned were beautiful because the brown trees glowed red in the sun and contrasted with the still green foliage.

I've finished the Aenied. The next epic poem is going to be Beowulf, but that i need to sit down and read in one go.

I read what was probably a children's version of Beowulf for Year 8 English way back when... A PLC education has always been something special. ;)

I still remember it. Fabulous story :)
